It is an absolute priviledge to be able to retire early, explore myself a little more, and maintain my link with the university and to continue my research activities. One of my passions is to immerse myself in the outdoors and enjoy trekking, ski-touring, and am developing my climbing ability.

Here I list some of the longer distance treks I have done that I hope will be encourage you to do the same

  • [HRP trek] : 34 day version
  • [provence trek] : nice to ???
  • [Nepal trek] : Everest region and out over the Tashi Lapsta
  • [ski tour huur hut norway] : Narvik Logistics
  • [ski tour cham-zermatt #1] : standard route, huts open
  • [ski tour cham-zermatt #2] : purists route, huts not open

I can also thoroughly recommend cycling north of perpignan, it is full of limestone canyons and Cathar castles. Late march to june and september are best.
